Is anyone as excited as I am about the upcoming release of DRIV3R? Ridley Scott produced a short film to hype the release, and it looks great. Check out the trailers for it: DRIV3R (http://www.DRIV3R.com)
Wow! The trailor looked great! So real....
The tri level jumps were awesome and beat the car to peices.
I just put this one on my list :)

Hi...just joined this board. thanks for the link! i've been hearing about this game for awhile now but never got around to researching it. looks pretty amazing. do you think this will be more about driving than the action part?

I'm not sure about the action v. racing aspect. Sorry. However, the first installation of the short film came out on the 23rd and is fantastic. Check it out: "Run the Gauntlet" (http://www.atari.com/driv3r/flash-US/flash-US.htm) This game is going to be great!

I am really looking forward to the part of Driv3r that's in Istanbul. How many other games take place there? Not many. This could really add to the gangster like feeling.

Yeah, Istanbul isn't one of those locations i would've imagined in a driving game, but it's pretty intriguing...The screenshots look fantastic! can't believe they put so much detail into the buildings...must mean the detail in the cars is even better since it's a driving game.

I am getting antsy for this game even though I know I am gonna have to wait a while for it. The website (http://www.driv3r.com), has a ton of school stuff on it though. Check it out. You can watch the first Ridley Scott short film and some "making of" stuff which is pretty sweet.
How long until it hits the stores?

According to the website...The release date is set for June 1st...I just pre-ordered from EB games and they sent me an email saying it'll probably ship June 3rd. I hope that's a fixed date...that's the optimist in me...Until then, i'm hoping they keep throwing out some good clips and more episodes of that movie about the game...have y'all seen it yet?
Man.. that's a long way off.... :(

I saw the first film in "Run the Gauntlet" which was awesome. There is a really cool scene where they slow it down and mute the sound...really cool. When you preordered the game, did they mention any specials you might get as a bonus when it comes out? I hope they package the whole short film on a DVD or something.

Check out all the new stuff on the website. They are putting new stuff up every Thursday...like new trailers, screen shots, etc. It's really cool. Can't wait til June 1.

nice...yeah...the updates are good to see..especially the expanded car info they've got up... the 3D is a nice touch...i hope they keep adding to that. ya know...i wasn't as impressed with the second episode of the movie...not much new stuff was really in it...i really hope the next installment does more...it started off SOOO good

Have y'all checked out the entire film for Run the Gauntlet? They put it up a couple weeks ago and is really cool. I wanna know what people think of this...I'm a huge fan of the promotion this game has. Check out the film here (http://www.driv3r.com)

I just thought I'd see if anyone is still interested in this game b/c it's coming out pretty soon. Anyone still looking at it at all?
