While surfing through Google, I found this wonderful site.:cool:

I am a long time NASCAR fan - with Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon being my favorite drivers.:D

I am married to a racer so I have been around racing also- not just get to watch it on TV. We have a local track here in our town (Florida) and every Saturday- that's where you can find my family. There's nothing like sitting at a short track on Saturday nights with your kids.

Hi Racegirl24, welcome to Istockcar. Ready for Daytona? I am a fan of Carl Edwards. Great driver, and he seems to be a really nice guy. :)

Yes, I am soooo ready for Daytona- actually, I more ready for my husbands season to start ;) I don't live but an hour or so from Daytona but I'd rather sit on my couch and watch the race- this way I can see it all....lol We've been to Daytona a few times and it IS great but you sure do miss a lot of action.

I went to the Pepsi 400 one year, at that time my husband was working for one of the sponsors and we had a suite box. We also got access to the infield before the race. I was astounded at the track. When you watch it on tv, you don't realize how steep the track really is. I have been a fan ever since then. :)

Yes, it is huge! We took a "track tour" once and like you said you don't realize how steep it is. Did you get a chance to visit Daytona USA?

So I see this isn't a very active forum? Or did I join on a slow week? lol

We haven't made it to Daytona USA yet, but I hear that it is a really cool place. The forum is not that active yet, we are still working on getting it going. :)
