Hello. My name is Mary Lynn Nicholas. I work at the pit boards at both PPMS and Lernerville speedways. My godson, TJ, has ALL leukemia. He is the son of racer, Jim Bertges, and the grandson of the late Helene Bertges of the Pittsburgh Circle Track Club. He is trying to break the Guiness book of world records for hat collecting and raise leukemia awareness. I am writing to ask if you could send a hat and would consider linking his site to your page? Racers and their fans are generous people and most have more hats than they can wear. If it is not possible, I do understand. Thank you for reading this post. Please click the link for more information on TJ and his mailing address. If you have problem or ?, please contact me at Marylynn_1@hotmail.com. The link is as follows:

I look forward to hearing from you. Mary Lynn
Feel free to cross post this and raise leukemia awareness and help TJ, too. :)

I want to thank everyone who has read this post. There has been some email correspondence and hats have started to arrive. I also want to thank anyone who has cross posted for TJ. He has already had over 100 transfusions since his diagnosis 4 monthes ago. Joe Gibbs's 2 year old grandson has now become a victim of this terrible disease. Blood and bone marrow donors are needed. This quest is raising leukemia awareness one person at a time. If you would like to send a hat or a card, the address is as follows: TJsjourney

If you want to learn more about TJ and see pics, the link in my previous post provides that. Thank you. Proud to be in the racing community. Mary Lynn
