Hey fans... I'm new to the forum!!! I'm Luke, its nice to meet all of you.

Now I do have an issue to address here. Tony Stewart, who else. I have read a couple of the posts about him. I couldn't agree more with all of you. You ever feel like you want to just jump through the television and strangle him. Seriously, I totally felt like that this weekend!!

I'm a huge Nascar fan, and I love watching the races. For some reason this weekend I couldn't just sit there and enjoy the race. I found myself the entire race watching Stewart move back up through the field hoping that he would cut a tire and slam the wall!!

I was thinking. What can I do for him to personally hear what I have to say about him!!! My first thought is to put out a little money and create tonystewartsucks.com I could build a forum and a fan club and maybe when enough of us join, he'll find out about it!!!! That would be great, right? The problem is that I don't have time to do that!

SO, I have a suggestion to make to all of you but this won't work unless of course all of you participate.

Please send and email to both Home Depot and Joe Gibbs Racing telling them how you feel about not only this past weekend, but the ever great past of Tony Stewart. Let Home Depot know what sponsoring Tony Stewart does for them!! And assure Joe Gibbs Racing the fan following he's getting for having ole Tony as his driver! If we all do this there's a chance that we can make a difference. There's a chance, thats all that matters :)

Thank you all for participating!!!

Stewart lost any credibility with fans and NASCAR after his display of driving antics during the Daytona 500, especially after making an issue of aggressive driving during the qualifying races. NASCAR missed a chance to sit Tony in the pits for about 5 green flag laps to make an example of him.

I grudgingly gave him a go after he seemingly changed his ways during last season. Looks like its back to anger management class for Tony.

I agree that making his actions an issue with his sponsors would go a long way toward making the point. Count me in.

I think Tony is dangerous at times and ok at times. That don't mix at 185 mph.

I like Lukus' idea, though I doubt there are enough people here to constitute an uprising large enough to have an effect.

Nonetheless, via the links I told Joe Gibbs to get rid of Stewart, and I told Home Depot to get their name off of his car so I can happily shop there again.

For several years, every time I go into the Home Depot I have the vivid grudging thought that I am giving Stewart more money. I hate it. But in my little town, Home Depot is the only place for home improvement stuff unless I drive 35 miles away.

Hey Lukus, if you want to generate some anti-Stewart stuff, you're welcome to use my site as a platform. It gets a few hundred hits a day, but the folks who go there tend to camp (about 3,000 page views per day).

Here's the one thing I have there related to the Stewart issue. I made it up. It's all I could think of in a hurry:

You can't hide who you truly are. Tony Stewart is a great example of this. He was a jerk when he came into the circuit, and in spite of all his elliged "changes of heart," he remains a jerk.

I remember seeing a story about how now that he has his own jet, he spends alot of time in his little home town. He talked about how relaxed and placid it's made him on the track. Well, he may indeed be relaxed, but that's just because he knows nobody in NASCAR has the balls to call him out and issue proper penalties. I mean, come on, when you take out a guy so obviously in the biggest venue in your sport after talking about how that very act will likely kill someone, you have to practice what you preach. Or you can get a slap on the wrist and go to the back of the pack under yellow. Okay, so what does he have to say after the race? "He got what he had coming." Allright, time for a points penalty! Nope, it's Tony Stewart, we have to be nice or else he'll whine like a baby right down to the last race of the year.

Somebody needs to take him down a notch. Mark Martin, for example. A respected veteran. "Oops, I didn't mean to spin him out. Well, not the third time anyway." What are they going to do to Mark? Cheer for him!

I'm just sick and tired of that smug little prick. He's that kid on the playground who always tries to push you off the swingset. Needs a good beatdown.

I wonder how much of it can be credited to Joe Gibbs. He's a football coach. He's used to being surrounded by and dealing with bone-chewing over-emotional run-through-anybody maniacs. That's who you want on a football team.

Apparently Gibbs stands by Stewart no matter what Stewart does, because he's used to warped behavior. Something's entirely wrong with this whole picture, or we wouldn't be here typing our strong opinions about it.

Hey Jastang, do you remember the TV interview where Stewart was in his home town, talking about how relaxed he was? If you saw the same clip I did, Stewart was wearing a tee shirt that had a graphic on it... two hands pointed outward like a shove. In big words next to that ... "NO AUTOGRAPHS"

He chose to wear that shirt for a TV piece about his new relaxed life.

How can we band together to hate Tony any more than we already do?

Ya know, it's just amazing to me. I'm amazing myself. ...How wrapped up in this Stewart thing I've been.

My daddy took me to the Charlotte Motor Speedway, musta been 40 years ago, to see Charlie Gotzbach (sp?) win the National 500 in a Superbird. There was a (relatively) small grandstand and so few billboards. At that time it was not yet a commercial venture.

Without apologies, my oh my how things have changed since then.

I guess in all my years, the sport has never seen anything like Tony Stewart. And I don't think Tony's a good thing (for the sport). That's the last thing I'll say about that. Until next time.

I guess that we will have to just wait and see how he acts today. Hopefully he will not spin anybody out. If he does, they need to throw the black flag!

I completely agree! I never thought that I could possibly be so interested in the failure of one individual. I absolutely loved seeing that DNF today. It was truely awesome!!!

You guys are awesome. It is GREAT to see others talking with me about the scum of the earth, Tony Stewart. I can't even start the guy on my fantasy racing team because I want to be happy when he wrecks!!!

Yeah, that has become my definition of a Great Race - Butthead finished assed-last. Isn't it fitting Matt should win?

Tony still looked like a Chihuahua when they interviewed him. Bug-eyed, dog-looking scoundrel he is.

He'll live to rape somebody else on another day. This ain't over. I still maintain he should be banned from the league.

My wife is an ex-nurse, so I know a few medical terms. He's bi-polar, or manic-depressive or something. He's sick. Maniac to calm in a matter of days? That's not at all medically/mentally normal. I don't at all suspect drugs. No, it's genuinely mental.

Emotional, more so. And that's mental, too.

He shouldn't be on that track threatening the safety of the guys we like to cheer for, whoever that is in your own case.

this site is the best. i agree he is a jerk. i wonder why these guys don't get a real sponsor that we all would like. nascar fans go for the gusto in life. a good sponsor would be touch me there (web site touchmetherenow.com) which is a lubricant for woman that will drive them crazy. It is the best stuff i ever used and it makes my wife have an orgasim every time and now she actually wants sex. this is the sponsor that race fans want to see (but not on tony's car, he should get depends).

Well, I don't know if this is the right path to take in this forum, but to put forth an opinion on sponsors...the suggestion above may be a bit over the line (though Mark Martin DID have Viagra as a sponsor, so maybe that DID open the door).

Tony Stewart's natural sponsor? Home improvement (by any brand name) would not be a natural match. It would definitely be a drug, something with a very long unpronouncable name. Something they give to folks very late at night in straight jackets. The folks who are already incarcerated somewhere we (hopefully) never get to see. The chemical name of the drug would have too many letters to be painted on the hood of a car. So, I guess it's not a natural match after all...

..and, that drug would not be a huge public product. Only to "special" people. A very limited market. Not worth the advertising investment.

let's put it this way. He and Hrvick are the last of the breed that started NASCAR. Look at this: http://msn.foxsports.com/id/1618978_36_1.jpg.
