Hey, I'm new here. I did searches on "scanner" and didn't get any hits...so now I will post my desire and hope y'all can help.
I've been a Cup fan for decades, and I'm ashamed to say that I've never been to a Cup race. I've been to hundreds of local races at the Cajon Speedway, but that facility unfortunately was just shut down.
Anyway, I'm going to my first Cup race next weekend at Fontana, and I think I should have a scanner. Can anyone recommend a good one, a good setup to have, or more importantly, the best way to get the most out of the "being there" experience?
